Claim Deadline
The last day to submit a claim form and be eligible for a payment from a class action settlement.
Every class action settlement has a claim deadline. Submit your claim form before this date or lose any right to a payment, even if you are clearly a class member.
The court sets the deadline as part of approving the settlement. The administrator notifies known class members by email or mail, and publishes the deadline on the settlement website. Deadlines are usually 60 to 120 days after notice, though larger and more complex settlements can run longer.
Missed deadlines are almost never extended. The class fund is finite, and the administrator needs a fixed window to process claims, calculate per-claimant amounts, and issue payments. If you miss the deadline, the only path is a personal lawsuit, which is usually not worth the cost for individual consumer harms.
Always file before the deadline even if you think you have weak proof. Filing preserves your claim. The administrator can request more documentation later. Not filing closes the door entirely.
