Check If You Are Eligible for a Settlement You Never Got a Notice For

Notices get lost. Email filters them, mail goes to the wrong address, the administrator never had your current contact. Here is how to check eligibility yourself.

  1. 1

Pull your account or transaction history

Settlement eligibility almost always depends on dates of ownership, use, or residence. Pull bank statements, account dates, vehicle registration, app usage history. If the case is a data breach, check Have I Been Pwned for breach hits matching your email and phone.

  2. 2

Search a settlement aggregator by company name

Use classaction.org, topclassactions.com, or the FTC refunds page. Search the company's exact legal name (Bank of America, N.A.; Meta Platforms, Inc.; Snap Inc.). Aggregators list active settlements, claim links, and deadlines.

  3. 3

Confirm the administrator URL before submitting anything

Open the case docket on PACER or the linked aggregator and find the court-approved administrator. Compare the URL exactly. A real administrator never asks for fees and never asks for SSN before any account reference.

  4. 4

File before the deadline even with weak proof

Filing preserves your claim. The administrator can request more documentation later. Not filing closes the door. If you do not have your account number, file with what you have and write a short note describing your eligibility.
